Colin is on the left

Before moving into consultancy, Colin worked in both public and private sectors before training, qualifying and working as a career and vocational guidance counsellor, developing approaches to assist individuals to manage personal transitions and fully utilise their potential.

He held a number of senior training and development positions in a large corporate financial institution and in the partnership environment of a professional services firm. In these roles he was involved in a range of activities including culture change and organisational development programmes, executive coaching, self- managed learning approaches, assessment centres, and developing professional developers.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Association of Management, Education and Development, Colin is licensed to administer and interpret a range of psychometric and behavioural instruments, including MBTI Steps 1&2, OPQ, Verax and the 360 degree emotional intelligence tool endorsed by Daniel Goleman.

Colin's current areas of research include forming alternative thinking and approaches to leadership and applying learning from excellence in sports psychology to managerial performance. This utilises his personal experience in professional sport and qualification in Sports Psychology, and involves an associate, current England and British Lions rugby scrum- half and former England captain, Matt Dawson.

Colin is married with 2 children.
